Special ESL Classes

Course Descriptions

Bilingual ESL

Bilingual ESL classes are offered at locations where all the students speak the same native language. The teacher of each of these classes also speaks the language of the students. Bilingual classes are available for Spanish speakers, Chinese speakers, and Russian speakers at various centers. In these classes, students will learn English and receive explanations in their native languages as needed.
Special Classes

These classes are for special groups of students or cover specific topics. English for the visually impaired focuses on the development of English skills for those who have limited or no vision. English for Seniors focuses on the development of English skills relevant to senior citizens. Other special classes include writing, grammar, and college preparation.
