The Commercial Printing Operations program at the Educational Cultural Complex (ECC) prepares students for entry-level employment as a small press operator, large press feeder, bookletmaker operator, cutter operator, folder operator, platemaker/CTP, proofer, or small bindery machine operator. This is a 720-hour program.
While learning operation of the various presses, students work on real-world jobs at production speed. The class does most of the printing for Continuing Education, as well as projects for nonprofit organizations in our community. By the end of their training, students have a high quality portfolio which exhibits printed pieces that they worked on in class.
